HELSINKI TRANSPORT

Helsinki Transportation – One way to get around the city of Helsinki is by the metro. You can also take a bus, taxi or a limousine. There are car rental agencies also available. One fantastic way to travel is by getting a Helsinki card. It is good to ride on all the public transportation and covers many of the museums and attractions. The cost of the card is $30. This will be a very good idea for you if you’re planning to do a lot of sight seeing in Helsinki.

Travel Guide

There is also a transport Tourist Ticket for about €10 for one day and €20 for three days which covers the train, trams, metro and also the Suomenlinna ferry (a great visitor attraction in itself).

Single tickets can be bought from ticket machines or from the bus or train driver.

You can also take the tram and there are water ferries too. Getting around Helsinki has been made very easy for locals and for visitors.
