Travel Guide

What can we say except that the summer season is the best time to visit Helsinki because you can enjoy the most of the beaches and do the most water sports. The season starts in mid-June and goes until mid-August. You’ll be amazed at the wonderful weather you will have during the days and then it gets comfortably cooler in the nights. It is the best time to visit the city to get the most enjoyment out of your trip.

Another nice time to travel to Helsinki is during the spring. There are warm days to take advantage of a lot of sight seeing. If you plan to visit during the winters you should know in advance that you’ll only have a few hours of daylight to fit in all of your fun.

Always bring lots of comfortable clothing so you will be prepared to spend hours seeing all the sights in Helsinki. It is a great City of the Sea.

The Helsinki Card is available to cover all transport and also admission to the best sights and museums. At about €30 for a day it is a good buy.

Finland is in the Eurozone so you’ll have no difficulty either getting euro or changing currency when you arrive.
You’re going to love Helsinki and we know it. Have a wonderful trip.
